A nice piece Green Tourmaline Facet Rough. It weighs 44.53 ct and is a nice blocky shape. To my eyes, the stone looks very clean and vibrant. You can look closely at the photos to see for yourself. Looking through the C axis it looks mostly closed  like in the photos so you will have to choose a design for closed C Tourmaline to get the best from this stone
. From the sides it is a real nice shade of green to blue-green (to my eyes). With all tourmaline, you will have to examine it carefully and choose the best orientation and design for this gem. Measures approximately 19.3mm X 16.4mm X 14.3mm so yield should be very high.
I'm selling my stock of facet rough that I have purchased over the last 35 years. This is all quality facet quality rough. It's always hard to find quality rough, so whenever I came across some, I would buy it piece by piece and put it away hoping to have time to start faceting again. I was a jeweler and gem gutter many years ago. Time to let these beautiful stones go to someone that has the time and talent to bring out the best in them. It's always a challenge to photograph gems. I tried to get accurate photos. I took the pictures on a white piece of paper and used my Nikon camera with the flash. The photos look accurate, but some maybe a little more vibrant due to the way the camera renders them. I always try to be honest in my descriptions.
