Description
Tibetan Singing BowlEvery handmade singing bowl is unique. This particular bowl is from the Himalayan country of Nepal where it was hand crafted using traditional hammer pounding technique, made recently for great sound. A beautiful golden bowl with a rich complex sound. This one plays around the rim very easily and well, with excellent sustain. It sings over a minute easily from a gong strike. It vibrates in D and E, the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras with overtone A, the introspective 3rd Eye Chakra. The sound clip below is about 30 seconds of De from a light gong tap. Unique Tibetan Singing Bowl
Every handmade singing bowl is unique. This particular bowl was hand crafted in the Himalayas using traditional hammer pounding techniques. It was graded as 'old' which from Nepal means 15-35 years. An interesting bowl, heavy hammer dents, worn patina, vibrates in E note, the Solar Plexus Chakra and D, the 3rd Eye or Brow Chakra. The sound clip below is about 20 seconds from a light gong tap.
