They have the look of leather but are made out of Textured stained wood to resemble leather.
one is faux book The Odyssey Homer.  it is leather look in dk green w gold lettering on side & front cover of the book. Measures 10.5" x 7.5" x 2.75"deep  interior is green.  2 brass semi locking closures on the edge side (see pictures)
Second faux book safe- THE POEMS OF ROBERT BROWNING it is  dark rust w hints of mahogany  looks  like leather--& gold colored letter printing on the leather look.  book measures almost
0.5" x 7.5" x 2.75"deep
.  it has the brass semi locking pieces.  interior is a dark burgundy
Both books have some whats left of sticker residue on the inside covers
they are good looking books. very old world.  look very antique & english.auction is for both books
These are great looking for home decor on a bookshelf or a coffee table while you store your cool items. They have a wonderful old world look.
These are sold as a lot.  I do not want to break up the lot as it is too difficult & time consuming to do so.  the price is for 2--they look great together.  the colors are marvelous & very english
